The Luckiest Kid in the World

by Danny Wallace

Joe Smith is completely average—average house, average school, average everything.

But when a survey names him the most average kid in the country, Joe suddenly becomes very interesting. Companies start sending him the latest gadgets, coolest clothes, and even exclusive access to theme parks and movies.

Life is now anything but average. But with all this attention, Joe starts to wonder—does being special really mean being happy?
