A Series of Unfortunate Events- The Wide Window

by Lemony Snicket

In The Wide Window, the Baudelaire orphans are sent to live with Aunt Josephine, a grammar-obsessed woman who lives in a rickety house perched on the edge of Lake Lachrymose. Though she means well, Aunt Josephine is terrified of almost everything—especially the lake below.

But danger soon finds the Baudelaires once again, as Count Olaf returns in yet another disguise—this time as the sinister sea captain “Sham.” With suspicious letters, a hurricane, and a deadly leech-infested lake, the children must stay sharp if they hope to escape Olaf’s latest scheme. (Book 3)
