Off Side

by Tom Palmer

Danny can’t believe it—City FC, the club he lives for, has been snapped up by a secretive foreign buyer, just when the fans were close to owning it themselves. Determined to uncover what’s really going on behind closed doors, Danny takes matters into his own hands. But when he’s caught spying on the club, the fallout is immediate—his parents are furious, his friends turn their backs, and he’s suddenly on his own.

Then he meets Adam, a young player from Ghana, abandoned by the agent who promised him a future at City. Alone in a strange country with nowhere to go, Adam’s story opens Danny’s eyes to a much bigger injustice. Speaking out could change everything—but it might also put them both at risk. (Book 3)
