Nadima is a new girl at Jaz’s school and Jaz likes her right away. Nadima has escaped war-torn Syria and has experienced terrible events, which have caused much tragedy and sadness in her life. Jaz and Nadima form a friendship initially through a shared love of chocolate but soon their friendship grows so much stronger.
