Tara Hawrami is a Turkish girl living in Iraq. She witnesses a brutal shooting and learns that her family is involved in the Peshmerga resistance movement. Tara’s life changes dramatically and her family have to move into the mountains where she is injured from a bombing. Eventually Tara and her family make their way to London as refugees and her life slowly improves.
