The Space We’re In

by Katya Balen

Ten-year-old Frank loves cottage pie, football, and solving secret codes. His little brother Max is five, only eats Quavers, and can’t handle new clothes or loud colours.

Frank misses when Mum used to paint galaxies across their living room wall. But now, all her attention is on Max.

When a heartbreaking event crashes into their lives, Frank has to find a way to pull their family back together—and figure out how he and Max can exist in the same universe, even when they feel light years apart.
